MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to aid victims of murder/attempted murder through the process of growing from victim to victim/SURVIVORS.

 

In 2006, the FBI estimated that over 17,000 people were murdered in America.  In Cleveland area alone, 99 people were murdered and almost 9,786 people were victims of  violent crime.  DAK Foundation is a new nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those who have lost a loved one to murder/attempted murder in the Cleveland area. DAK will officially launch in late January  2008.

OUR VISION:

To turn victims in to survivors; specifically victims dealing with attempted murder, and friends and family who have lost a loved one to murder.  Our mission is to help people through these unique circumstances, aid in spiritual and emotional healing, and help them find their “new normal”.
